Young People Bullish On Crypto

A new survey from the Pew Research Center shows that most Americans have heard about cryptocurrency and understand what it is. The study also shows that young Americans are spending money on digital currencies or digital properties. The survey says that about a third of Americans 18 to 29 have invested in cryptocurrency. The study also found a clear division between men and women on cryptocurrency. Men are about twice as likely to have used or invested in cryptocurrency. In all of this, about 16% of Americans say they have personally invested in or used some type of cryptocurrency. A survey in 2015 focused on Bitcoin ( $93,592.00 ) , with 48% of Americans saying they’d heard of Bitcoin ( $93,592.00 ) . However, the 2015 survey said only 1% of Americans had used it. This represents 15% growth in overall market share for a burgeoning market that regulators have yet to get a hold on. As the crypto market grows, these numbers are bound to shift, especially as it rises to $3 trillion and will likely continue growing for the foreseeable future.
