Tesla ($TSLA@US) CEO, Elon Musk, recently intimated that his SpaceX and Starlink brand might plan to accept Dogecoin (
$0.082 ) for merchandise purchases on their respective websites. Previously, a Twitter ($TWTR@US) user suggested that both brands should accept Dogecoin (
$0.082 ) . Johnna Crider, the Twitter user who made the request, later tweeted, “I’m in the process of switching Internet providers and I thought it would be so cool to buy Starlink with Doge. That’s where the idea to ask him came from.” Musk responded to Crider’s initial tweet with a winking emoji, indicating that this option might be on the table. A Dogecoin (
$0.082 ) influencer responded to Crider saying, It’s a great idea. Starlink could also act as nodes in the Dogecoin (
$0.082 ) network, enabling interoperability between Starlink satellites and the Dogecoin (
$0.082 ) ecosystem.” While Musk has also been pressuring McDonald’s ($MCD@US) to accept Dogecoin (
$0.082 ) , his online presence has helped the token pick up steam, allowing it to gain overnight. At press time, Dogecoin (
$0.082 ) was trading at 15.01 cents, up almost 3% on decreasing volume and a rise in its market cap.
