Dogecoin Fees Skyrocketed in 2021



2021 saw the largest increase in Dogecoin ( $0.086 ) ’s fees in its history. According to data from Forex Suggest, Dogecoin ( $0.086 ) fees rose more than 4000% from 1 cent to nearly 50 cents in just 1 year. Ripple also recorded massive increases in fees, noting that it saw more than a 3800% increase in 2021. Meanwhile, Ethereum ( $1,684.59 ) fees rose nearly 1500%. Forex Suggest attributes these increases to a massive increase in demand for smart contracts. Even so, Dogecoin ( $0.086 ) remains one of the cheapest blockchains. At press time, Dogecoin ( $0.086 ) was sitting at 11.69 cents, up more than 2% on an increase in volume and a rise in its market cap.
