Dogecoin (
$0.101 ) has been suffering along with other popular tokens as the global crypto market cap tumbles. Over the past 7 days, DOGE has gained just over 2%, and it hardly gained a half-percent in the past 24 hours. Largely, the token remained flat on volume that fell over 72% to just over $2 billion. Since the beginning of 2021, Dogecoin (
$0.101 ) has gained over 3000%, rising to 74 cents in May, but the halcyon days ended as the global crypto market was hit by regulatory crackdowns, reduced volume, and falling prices. Meanwhile, Dogecoin (
$0.101 ) lost over 1% to Bitcoin (
$75,919.00 ) and over 3% to Ethereum (
$2,074.53 ) . At press time, DOGE was trading at 18.05 cents, approaching its 24-hour high.
