21 Predictions for Crypto and Beyond in 2022

The ascendance of Avalanche, Terra, Solana and Polkadot ( $0.96 ) this year spells the end of real momentum for many projects that have been around for a while. They promised big things for years, but underperformed both technologically and in the markets during the biggest year in crypto so far. A partial list of projects I’d put in this category includes Litecoin ( $43.07 ) , IOTA, Cardano ( $0.17 ) , EOS and Hedera, based either on a lack of developer interest or technological mismatches with the direction the ecosystem is going.
